ABOUT THE SJSU PRECISION FLIGHT TEAM
The SJSU Precision Flight Team consists of San José State University students with a passion for aviation. Our team competes in up to two SAFECON competitions per year hosted by the National Intercollegiate Flying Association (NIFA). We are the only student-run and funded collegiate flight team in the west, and the oldest flight team in the nation. We strive to provide SJSU students an opportunity to be involved in aviation through competition.

2024 NATIONAL COMPETITION
The San Jose State University Precision Flight Team is preparing to attend the National Intercollegiate Flying Association National Competition in Wisconsin this upcoming May. Here team members will be joined by dozens of other universities from around the nation to compete in a variety of ground and flying events intended to develop their skills as aviators.
The San Jose State Precision Flight Team was the first-ever flight team in the nation. We are proud to continue to uphold that legacy over the years and will continue for generations to come. Our team is full of talented, motivated individuals who have continuously brought the team success through multiple title finishes.
